Modest Matthew

Okay, Matt will KILL me when he finds out I posted this, but it was too funny :)

We have this mirror in our bedroom that Matt just LOVES to look at himself in. With our overhead light on, I think it casts shadows on his muscles and makes them look even bigger.

I have caught him flexing in front of this mirror on more than one occasion. :) But everytime I catch him he'll make some ridiculous comment about how he thinks gets getting smaller.

For the past couple weeks I've been studying for my CPA Exam non-stop, so every night I come home from work at 7 or 8, then hop right into bed to study. Tonight, Matt got back from the gym and was walking around the house with his shirt off. He came in to talk to me about how our days were and the day's funny pawnshop stories, and he kept flexing in front of this mirror while we were talking.

Apparently....abandoning all his 'modesty' he says, "I actually feel like I'm getting bigger. My arms look big tonight and I didn't even work them out. And my chest is looking bigger too. Don't you think they are getting bigger?"

So I said, "Ummm....maybe....I think you always look big...I guess I'm just used to it."

Then Matt proceeds to say, "Yeah...you're just spoiled."

I seriously about fell off the bed laughing. LOL
